U.S. History before 1877

 | US History section 1 takes the student on a journey through the trials and tribulations of early America. On this journey, the student will gain an understanding of how colonization of North America affected the Native Americans, why colonists yearned for a government that responded to their needs, how slavery defined a growing, newly formed nation, and why the concepts of growth, conflict, and leadership are necessary components of a fledgling country.
