The El Paso Independent School District is working with Moodle, a very popular Open Source  Classroom Management System (CMS). Some teachers and students have used and are currently using the site, but some areas are experimental. If you are a teacher and would like more information about using this system, please contact Chris Sherman at 887-5868 (or by email at ccsherma@episd.org.) or Alan Hodson at 887-6871 (aahodson@). Other Moodle servers are located at http://episd144.episd.org and also, behind the firewall, one at 10.254.7.47 (Not available outside EPISD's network)

  social studies
   There are many Social Studies links available in the different EPISD servers and resources. The most popular resouce is http://links.episd.org. The Under The Surface page also provides curricular links so sites and material.
   The new Plone site (behind the firewall, ie., no "outside" access) also has a reference to more material, and will include the Social Studies District-issued CD.
